First of all I would like to thank all of the students who sent in all the required

Documents that were requested. I am very pleased because I am able to assist with better academic counselling now that I have your program information.

I would also like to say that I had a great time meeting many of you at the Student Orientations. I look for ward to meeting you again at the Policy Review dates in Nov 7 in Saskatoon and Nov 9 in Regina. Please send in your Policy concerns before those dates so that they will be brought forth at the meetings. The Hotel is Ramada at both locations and to start at 5 pm till 9pm;

Also enclosed is the Continuing Application which must be sent back to my office in order for Funding to continue, just as it was before. Anyone not sending back the Application will tell me that Funding is no longer required and we will contact the students on the Waitlist. The deadline date to send back is October 31, 2007.

You may fax / mail it back as soon as possible.

I would like to encourage the students who do not have a Toronto Dominion Bank account to open one up, I realize that you have other Bank accounts and would like to keep them, but if you open one up just so that Kahk finance can Direct Deposit into it rather than the mail it would make it easier for you to receive your Student Allowance .

Also if you ever need to deposit other finances such as book allowance,scholarships, reimbursements anything that has to do with finances. You can always just transfer it out and put it into your regular Bank Accounts. Just a thought to help you out to receive your funds in a timely manner. However , if you are not having any problems with the mail or someone picking up the cheques we will leave everything the way it is .

I will be visiting the students at the First Nations University Student Lounge on October 22 in the morning and U of S Aboriginal student lounge and other Saskatoon Institutions in the afternoon. Please email me if you would like to meet at a specific time and location  I would like to accommodate all of you otherwise I will just show up and visit

Regina Students I will be there for the November 9 th all day at the Ramada , but will meet you anyplace which works for you.

Prince Albert will be October 16 th I will be at the Prince Albert Inn at 4 pm and I can be reached on my cell 845 7094 or if you prefer I can visit you students at the Institutes

So far the student allowance cheque  date is the 26 th day of each month.
